This is my nth time in Baguio and my recent visit to the City of Pines, I let myself enjoy the place in a more cultural and artsy way. ;)
The BenCab Museum is one of the must-visit sites in Benguet, a few minutes away from the city of Baguio. Located in Tuba, Benguet, the museum houses the artworks of the famous Filipino artists Mr. Benedicto Cabrera among other artworks by talented Filipino artists.
The entrance fee to the museum is P100. Seniors and students can enjoy discounts as long as IDs are presented.
Cafe Sabel is the museum's restaurant found at the bottom part of the building. Unfortunately the whole cafe was filled so we weren't to try their food.
A picturesque view of the nature awaits those who stay at the cafe.
If you're going to the museum, it's wiser to have a cab waiting for you by the end of your visit. We were too optimistic for a taxi to come by nearby the museum, haha! Thanks to our 'genius' research. We walked a bit less than 5 kilometers before we were able to catch a cab back to the city. It was high noon when we did that walk, tapos uphill pa! Amoy araw at amoy pawis san ka pa! :D
My visit to the museum made me appreciate Filipino artworks even more. It's an experience that will fill your eyes and thoughts, there is so much to see and learn in each art pieces. Indeed, the museum is truly a marvel to explore.
